The answer is actually quite trivial: the sheep is included in our name FachSCHAFtsliste. So many years ago, we came up with the idea of using sheep as the ‘mascot’ of the FSL TU Graz (and the other student representative lists in Austria). During election campaigns, we decorate the TU Graz campus with pretty wooden sheep we designed ourselves instead of poster stands.

Apart from that, there are also some good reasons in favour of sheep:

• Sheep stick together and support each other, just like we do as FSL TU Graz.
• Sheep live in a large herd, just as we have members from almost all degree programmes at TU Graz.
• Sheep protect each other, just as we defend the rights and interests of TU Graz students!
• Sheep are simply fluffy and nice!
